FAQs

  • These courses are designed for parents, caregivers, grandparents, babysitters, au-pairs and anyone who looks after babies and young children. No medical background needed, just a willingness to learn.

  • Each course covers essential life-saving skills like CPR and choking response.

Plus how to handle common emergencies like burns, fevers, allergic reactions, head injuries and more. You’ll also learn when to act, when to observe, and when to stay calm.

If you have specific concerns, like allergies, travel, twins, or NICU follow-up, I can adapt the content just for you. For private groups or one-on-one sessions, we can create a bespoke course focused on exactly what matters most to you.

Because one-size-fits-all doesn’t really apply when it comes to parenting.

  • Most of the content focuses on babies and children under 8, but many of the skills (like CPR, choking, burns and allergic reactions) are useful for older children too.

The CPR mannequins we use are similar size to a 3 month old and a 4 year old.

  • Courses are held in central Copenhagen or in-home (on request). All in English and always designed to be parent-friendly.

  • Yes! Babies in arms are very welcome at in-person courses. I want the environment to be as inclusive and relaxed as possible. If your baby needs a feed or a cuddle, that’s absolutely fine. Feel free to reach out if you need to discuss specific needs regarding this and we will do whatever we can accomodate.

  • Most group sessions run for 3 hours, with plenty of time for questions and hands-on practice. Private and online sessions can be tailored to your needs.

  • Yes! In-person courses include hands-on practice with baby and child CPR manikins, so you can build muscle memory and real-life confidence. It’s one of the most important parts of the course.

  • These workshops are for educational purposes and are not officially certified for workplace or childcare qualifications. If you need a certified course, I’m happy to help point you in the right direction.

  • Yes. I offer private sessions for parent groups, baby circles, corporate teams and more. Just get in touch and we’ll find a date and focus that works for you.

  • I'm a UK-trained paediatrician, with international clinical and teaching experience. I’m also trained by the UK Resuscitation Council to teach newborn life support, and I’ve taught at multiple medical schools. I’m a mum of two, born in Denmark and France, and a NICU mama myself. You can read more about my story on our About page.

  • That’s totally normal. My goal is to help you feel calmer and more confident, not perfect. You’ll leave with simple, memorable tools, and a handout you can revisit anytime.

If you’d like a refresher later, I’m always here.

  • If there’s something you’re wondering about that isn’t answered here (big or small) just ask. I’m always happy to chat and help you feel confident before booking.
