DOCTOR, MUM, EDUCATOR, AND INTERNATIONAL
I landed in Denmark while heavily pregnant with my first daughter. Navigating life in a new country—with new systems, new risks, and new parenting methods—was a lot, even as a doctor myself.
Through Doctor Mum, I work to empower parents and caregivers to confidently respond to emergencies, manage common childhood illnesses and injuries, create safter environments, and navigate Denmark's systems with less stress.
British qualified paediatrician registered with the licensing board to practice here in Denmark.
When a child grazed their knee, my daughter proudly announced:
“It’s okay! My mum is a Doctor Mum for Kids!”
The other parents and I had just been discussing the idea of combining my background as a paediatrician with first aid education for families, and in that moment, the name clicked.
It perfectly captures what I hope to offer: expert, practical care delivered with warmth, community, and the perspective of both a doctor and a mum finding her own place in Denmark.
